Native American Heritage Month 2020

Native American Heritage Month was declared in 1990 by George H.W. Bush via Joint resolution designating November 1990 National American Indian Heritage Month. Similar proclamations have been issued annually each year since 1994. This year Arizona State University is celebrating Native American Heritage Month with 27 different events put on by Student & Cultural Engagement, the Alliance of Indigenous Peoples (AIP), and partner organizations.  ASU’s Native American Heritage Month aims to provide a platform for Indigenous students to share their culture, traditions, music, crafts, and dance. Students provide opportunities to share community values and solutions for building a stronger community.
