Navajo Nation Government Reform Listening Session

The American Indian Policy Institute, along with the Commission on Navajo Government Development and Office of Navajo Government Development are hosting a Navajo Nation Government Reform Listening Session on Thursday, September 24, 2015.  The event will be on the ASU Campus at Armstrong Hall in the Sandra Day O’Conner College of Law, 1100 S. McAllister Ave., Tempe, AZ 85281.

Discussion items will include: The Three Branch Government System; Title 1; Title 2; Title 26; the Local Governance Act (LGA); Regionalization and Decentralization; History of the Navajo Nation Government; and other issues and concerns.  There will be a question and answer period.
